This is a tough one for me. My church, RHCC, has a tremendous food pantry, that has zero to do with religion. It is Service to the community for those in need.

I believe the same template can apply to the Lions. A Christian based organization.

But neither are evangelical in their service. Both simply provide food to those in need.

I still don’t believe 12.11 is necessary.

I certainly don’t believe 12.22.2 is necessary.

Nave that to state law.

I’m not convinced a chatter can legally Meter out penalties for criminal violations.

why wouldnt 12.11 be necessary? I have a guess but curious the reason.

what is 12.22.2?
I believe I was reading the separate draft of article XII.

My fear now is we’re rushing to get this done without considering the consequences.

I agree. We’re all convoluted at this point.

IMO? We should wait another week or two To present this to CC at their next meeting.

I am sympathetic to Lynda's concerns with the no-crossover provision. There is established law about dual-office holding, however deciphering that law gives the prospect of deciphering this discussion board a run for its money! I am not opposed to adding the no-crossover provision into the charter,
