Attached you will find a draft memo and budget calendar for the upcoming budget year. It’s hard to believe it is already time to begin the budget process, but I have learned over the years that to be efficient and effective, budgeting is a year-round project. The goal is to establish a consistent routine that staff can follow with Council approval, so we continue moving forward in a transparent manner, avoid rushing the process, and prevent surprises.
