Formally accept the public infrastructure within Fire Fly Cove Phases 1A and 1B | 5/1/2025 Council Meeting

Councilmembers,

In preparation for our discussion on Firefly Cove Phases 1A and 1B (Agenda Item No. 11), I have submitted a request to the City Manager asking for the following documentation prior to our meeting:

• A fully executed Bill of Sale transferring the infrastructure to the City
• Final inspection reports for streets, drainage, water, and sewer
• Engineer certifications confirming compliance with approved plans
• A copy of the maintenance bond
• Any outstanding punch list items, if applicable
• A financial impact memo regarding expected maintenance costs
• Utility functionality and pressure testing results
• Written confirmation from staff that all requirements have been satisfied prior to acceptance

I requested that this information be made available for Council review ahead of Thursday’s meeting.

I believe having these materials in advance will help ensure that we are making an informed decision on acceptance, consistent with our fiduciary responsibilities.
