As my term comes to a close today, I want to pause and share my deepest gratitude with every one of you, our dedicated city staff, my fellow council members past and present, and the inspiring incoming members who will soon step into these vital roles. It has truly been the honor of a lifetime to serve our wonderful Lago Vista community by your side these past four years.
To our incredible staff: Your professionalism, tireless hours, and unwavering dedication touch lives in ways that may go unnoticed but are profoundly felt every single day. You've made Lago Vista a stronger, more vibrant place, and I'm endlessly thankful for the heart you pour into your work.
To my fellow council members: Thank you for the thoughtful conversations, the spirited debates, and the shared passion we've brought to every challenge. Together, we've always kept the best interests of our residents at the forefront, and that collaboration has been one of the greatest joys of this journey.
To the incoming council: I wish you clarity in decision-making, resilience through the ups and downs, and steady judgment as you guide our community forward. You're entering these roles at a pivotal time, and I have every confidence that your integrity and commitment will shine brightly. I'm rooting for you every step of the way!
